Guppy Plastic operations are located in Malaysia and China with a sales office in the US. Our 3 plants in Cheras, Selangor (HQ), Penang and Tongzhou, China are fully equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and intensive R&D capabilities to cater to our customers’ varying demands. We work closely with our customers and vendors to create the most cost-effective, efficient products in a fast turnaround time.

Our plants’ combined built-up area is 625,000 sq ft, with over 180 units of plastic injection moulding machines ranging from 18 tonnage to 3, 000 tonnage machines.

Guppy Selangor
Our plant in Selangor was opened in 1988 and serves as Guppy Plastic headquarters. The site was expanded twice in 1991 and 1993 and now boasts a built-up area of over 370,000 sq ft with an annual production capacity of approximately 40 million pieces. The plant is ISO9001:2000 certified.

The Selangor plant specialises in producing disposable household wares, office furniture, pet products, and semiconductor parts.

Our Selangor plant is fully equipped to handle the manufacturing process from conceptualisation and design, through to mould fabrication, production, sales and marketing for the local and international markets.

Guppy Penang
Our Penang plant benefits greatly from the State’s reputation as the ‘Silicon Valley of the East’ and specialises in automotive, electrical/electronic, semiconductor and industrial products.

This facility is fully equipped with a sophisticated R&D design centre, testing laboratory and advanced measuring equipment.

The Penang plant is also able to perform a wide range of secondary processes from thermo welding, ultrasonic, silk screening, tempo printing, pin insertion, hot stamping and spray painting. The plant is ISO9001:2000, ISO14001:2004 and ISO TS16949 certified, proof of our total commitment to product excellence and international requirements.

Guppy China
China is a major market for Guppy Plastic as the nation moves towards industrialization and globalisation at high speed! The Tong Zhou plant specializes in the manufacturing of disposable wares for the fast-food restaurant chains. Production is facilitated by a large volume and high-speed production cycle.

This plant is operated in accordance with the highest international standards and is fully ISO9001:2000, ISO14000 and HACCP certified.

US Sales Office
The US sales office was opened in 2006 to offer Guppy’s US customers the benefit of on-site technical backup and support. This site allows us to provide our US customers with dedicated, fast support and minimise delays.
